"Artist introduction"
Acky Bright is a Japanese manga artist and illustrator known for his unique "kawakakkoii" (i.e. "cute and cool") style. His works combine fine lines and bold compositions and are loved by audiences at home and abroad.
Since 2020, Acky Bright began to publish works on social media, gradually gaining widespread attention. He has created artwork for many well-known brands, including McDonald's, Meta, BMW, DC Comics and Netflix.
His first commercial album "B/W" will be published by PIE International in 2023. It contains about 200 selected works, showing his artistic style and creative concepts.
In addition, Acky Bright has held multiple personal exhibitions and live painting events. In October 2024, he held a solo exhibition titled "Acky Bright: Studio Infinity" at the Japanese Cultural Center in New York, showcasing his new series KBK-18 and Ah-Un, which incorporate traditional Japanese art and theater elements.
