What age is M rating?

The M rating in video games refers to “Mature” content, and it is part of the ESRB (Entertainment Software Rating Board) system used mainly in North America. Here’s what it means:


🎮 M Rating (Mature 17+)

  • Age Recommendation: 17 years and older

  • Content: Games rated M may contain:

    • Intense violence or gore

    • Strong sexual content or partial nudity

    • Strong language

    • Drug or alcohol references

  • Purpose: To warn parents and players that the game is intended for older teens and adults.
